A sonification of World Health Organisation mortality rate data1, identifying societal differences between The Netherlands, Brazil, Russia and the United States. AIDS, cancer, suicide, homicide and accidental deaths were split in ten age groups per country. The left channel represents male, the right channel female deaths. Discernable phenomena include high child mortality in Brazil, high cancer mortality in the United States and the Netherlands, and drastically varying mortality distribution between countries.
